Robert Hutson
Tenor - Torin Chiles Studio
London-native tenor, Robert Hutson is in his third year of a Bachelor of Music degree, majoring in voice performance, at Western University, under the tutelage of Torin Chiles and coach Marianna Chibotar. Last season, Robert made his operatic debut as 2nd High Priest in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte. Robert is pleased to be returning this season, singing in the choruses for Bizet’s Carmen and G&S’s Pirates of Penzance. Previously Robert had been actively involved in Ontario’s choral scene, singing tenor with the 2014, ‘15, and ‘16 Ontario Youth Choirs; as well as being a long term member of the Amabile Boys and Men’s choirs of London. Robert is also studying bassoon at Western and performs with orchestras such as the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra, and Orchestra Breva.
