Olwyn Supeene
Mezzo-soprano - Todd Wieczorek Studio
Olwyn Supeene grew up in Medicine Hat, Alberta, with two music teachers for parents and a vibrant arts community to participate in. Although she first obtained her Bachelor of Music in French Horn Performance from the University of Alberta, she has been a singer as long as she can remember, and is currently in her second and final year of a Master of Vocal Literature and Performance at Western University. She has been fortunate to have twice performed the role of La Zia Principessa in Puccini's Suor Angelica (Accademia Europea Dell'Opera, July 2016, and Western University Opera, November 2017).  Additionally, at Opera NUOVA in June of 2017 she sang the roles of Lady Jane in Gilbert & Sullivan's Patience and the Nurse in Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin. She is excited to be a part of Western University Opera's gala performance this year.
