Olivia Morton
Soprano - Barbara Dunn-Prosser Studio
Olivia Morton is a young soprano from Burlington, Ontario. She is currently in the final year of her Bachelor of Music degree studying with Barbara Dunn-Prosser. Olivia began her performing career at a young age through various young theatre companies and slowly branched from the musical theatre style into a more classical and operatic style of singing. In the summer of 2017, she performed the role of Barbara in John Beckwith’s Night Blooming Cereus, as well as the role of First Lady in the world premiere of Michael Rose’s A Northern Light’s Dream with Summer Opera Lyric Theatre in Toronto. In 2016, she portrayed the role of Suor Genovieffa in Puccini’s Suor Angelica with Accademia Europea Dell’Opera in Lucca Italy. This year at Western University, Olivia is excited to be understudying the role of Mabel and performing in the chorus of Pirates of Penzance as well as performing in the Opera Gala.
