Megan Watt
Piano - Stéphan Sylvestre Studio
Megan fell in love with piano performing when she performed at the Lieutenant Governor's Residence in Halifax as a child. Halifax native, and a recent graduate of Mount Allison University, Megan Watt has been recognized by institutions and summer programs for her high level of piano performance. At Mount Allison University, Megan was the recipient of numerous awards and honours, including the Graduating Pianist award and the Paisley Prize in Church Music. Prior to attending Mount Allison, Megan was the silver medal recipient from the Atlantic Canada Royal Conservatory for grade nine piano in 2009, continuing on to complete her Associateship of the Royal Conservatory of Toronto (ARCT) in 2013 with first class honours. Megan currently is studying a Masters of Music in Piano Performance and Literature at Western University under the tuteledge of Professor Stéphan Sylvestre. At Western, she is the recipient of the Sherwood Fox Fellowship, and a Graduate Research Scholarship.
