Heidi Wall

Heidi Wall holds a BMus in piano performance from WLU where she placed first in the concerto competition in her second year with Rachmaninoff’s Variations on a Theme by Paganini. During that degree, she was awarded the gold medal for music and won two gold medals in the Canadian Music Competition. After graduating, she participated in three artist residencies at the Banff Centre, one of which resulted in a recording of Schöenberg’s Pierrot Lunaire with the Gruppo Montebello which was released on the Etcetera label in Europe. She then completed an MMus in Music in Performance and Literature at Western University under Stephan Sylvestre in 2017 and is currently a DMA candidate. On the side, Heidi coordinates a music festival and teachers privately. She resides in Kitchener-Waterloo.
