Douglas Graham
Baritone - Theodore Baerg Studio
While a newcomer to Eastern Canada, Douglas is a baritone hailing from Edmonton, Alberta.  He received his Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from The King's University in Edmonton, under the instruction of bass-baritone Jihwan Cho.  He also spent the year following his undergrad in Calgary, Alberta studying with Michelle Minke, artistic director of Cowtown Opera Company.  Now at Western Douglas is diving head first into his Masters of Music in Literature and Performance voice degree under the guiding hand of Ted Baerg.  This year you will find Douglas performing prominently within the university first as Escamillo in Carmen and also as the Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance.  Previous experience includes Colonel Calverley in Patience and The Starkeeper in Carousel (Opera NUOVA) and work as an ensemble member for Calgary Opera, Cowtown Opera Company, Edmonton
