Colin Bell
Tenor - Torin Chiles Studio
Colin Bell is a tenor from Chatham-Kent who is studying Voice Performance at Western. He is an experienced musical theatre and stage performer. He has been in many shows, such as the Phantom of the Opera, Little Shop of Horrors, and the Wizard of Oz. Colin has also had the honour of performing in Die Zauberflöte last year as Tamino, and in La Bohème in his first year of university as Parpignol. Colin sings with the Western University Singers, and is a part of Torin Chiles’ vocal studio. He has received many awards for his singing, including a scholarship from the London Opera Guild, the Elsie E. Holmes scholarship for music, the Golden K Kiwanis Bowl, and in first year was named the most promising Junior University/College male singer from the Ontario chapter of NATS. In the summer of 2016, he was invited to Chicago for the NATS National Competition, and was a semi-finalist.
