Amanda Weatherall
Mezzo-soprano - Todd Wieczorek Studio
Mezzo Soprano Amanda Weatherall is in her MMus of vocal literature and performance at Western University, studying under Todd Wieczorek. She is from Cranbrook, British Columbia, where she had her first taste of the stage.  The highlight of her Cranbrook performing was playing Evangeline Harcourt in Anything Goes, and performing with Fort Steele Heritage Town as varying historical residents. She helps run educational programs for young groups and interpret the heritage lifestyle for tourists.  Amanda’s operatic credits include Fox in Janáček’s Cunning Little Vixen (Opera NUOVA), Olga in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin (Opera NUOVA), Romeo in Bellini’s i Capuleti e i Montecchi (Opera NUOVA), Meg Page in Verdi’s Falstaff (Western), Tisbe in Rossini’s la Cenerentola (AEDO), Third Lady in Mozart’s Magic Flute (Western), and Chorus in Puccini’s La Bohème (Western). She looks forward to performing in the title role of Carmen at Western University.
