Alyssa Hildebrand
Soprano - Jackalyn Short Studio
Alyssa Hildebrand is currently in her first year of a Masters of Music in Literature and Performance at Western University, studying with Jackalyn Short.  She recently completed her Bachelors of Music in Voice Performance at Canadian Mennonite University, studying with David Klassen. This summer, Alyssa enjoyed attending Opera Nuova in Edmonton, and working as the Vocal Masterclass instructor at Ontario Mennonite Music Camp. Alyssa has been a finalist in several competitions, including the Verna Mae Janzen Competition and Winnipeg's Tudor Bowl Competition. Through her time at CMU, she performed in several different choirs and opera workshop performances. Some highlights include the role of Josephine in HMS Pinafore, and understudying the role Anne Page in The Merry Wives of Windsor.  Alyssa has a passion for performance and music education, and looks forward to continuing to teach private voice lessons in the future.
